What do I get for participating?
All runners will receive a commemorative shirt, race medal, mix swag bag, chick-fil-a chicken sandwich and beverage!

Do I have to run the 5K?
No, runners or walkers of all skill levels are welcome!

Is there an age requirement?
There is no minimum age requirement for participating.

Do runners have to participate in teams and race together?
No, team participants can race individually even if they fundraise as a team.

Are strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are allowed, we just ask that you start towards the end of the start chute for your safety and the safety of your stroller passenger. All stroller passengers must be fully strapped into and remain in the stroller during the event.
Note: Only registered runners with a bib will receive a medal at the finish line.

Are dogs/animals allowed?
Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash at all times and you pick up after them.

What kind of surface will I be running on?
This event will take place on the crushed limestone paths of the Forest Preserves of DuPage County. A small portion of the event will run on the grass of the "race track" at Danada Forest Preserve.

Where do I park on race day?
This event will have free parking at both the Danada Farm (3S118 Naperville Rd, Naperville, IL 60563) as well as the Danada Equestrian Center (3S507 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189). 

**If you park on the east side of Naperville Road at the Danada Equestrian Center, please do not cross the street using Naperville Road. There is a path from the parking lot with an underpass that will take you to the event site.

How do I register for this event?
Registration for this event is completely online using the EnMotive registration platform.

Can I register someone else for the race?
Yes, parents and legal guardians can register their child(ren) for the race.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Credit cards are the only accepted form of payment. Payment must be made online through the EnMotive registrationplatform.

How do I pick up my shirt & bib?
Runners can pick up their race packet, which includes their T-shirt and bib, at Packet Pickup locations (see dates and times below).

Where do runners get their timing device?
All participants of this race will be chipped timed and will receive their bib at packet pickup.

Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, runners are not required to set up a personal fundraising page to participate in the Chick-Fil-A 5K, however, by fundraising for this event, you will join McCabe of The Afternoon Mix on 101.9 The Mix as he teams up with the American Cancer Society to raise funds to fight breast cancer.

How can I find a runner's personal fundraising webpage?
Click on Fundraising in the main menu and this will take you to the event fundraising page where you can search for the team or individual you are looking for. After you reach the runner's fundraising page, you can make a donation!

Parking/Public Transit for packet pickup:
There is very limited free 2-hour street parking near the store as well as some paid parking options. This Fleet Feet location is only a 0.25 mile walk from the Elmhurst Metra Station which is a stop on the Union Pacific West (UP-W) line. 

What is the optional EnMotive Registration Protection Plan offered during registration?
Protect yourself for certain otherwise non-refundable registration expenses if you are unable to participate due to unforeseen qualified reasons. This offer is valid only at the time of your registration for the event and cannot be added retroactively. The Protection Plan is also non-refundable, if selected, once registration has been completed. The claim will be processed by EnMotive and not the race director or event that you have registered for. EnMotive will either approve or deny your claim based on the terms and conditions of the protection plan.
